Valcor Engineering Corporation

Model-Based Systems Engineering

Valcor has come a long way since the early days of drafting boards and slide rules. Our engineers use the latest technology to design our fluid and motion control components, as well as the custom integrated systems we design around our products. Using a virtual digital methodology known as Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) enables our engineers to execute the design of complex electromechanical systems by creating a Digital Twin of the new valve. MBSE is used to design and evaluate the performance of new fluid control components before a single part is fabricated. This level of design evaluation and visualization are capabilities never imagined by the engineers of yesterday. The use of these tools drastically shortens the time between concept and production, enabling us to provide production grade hardware to our customers in the shortest possible timeframe. Further, these tools ensure the production of a robust, application specific product that performs to specifications.

What is MBSE?

MSBE is a design process that enables engineers to execute the design of complex electromechanical systems by creating a Digital Twin of the new valve. MBSE is used to design and evaluate the performance of new fluid control components and systems before a single part is fabricated.

Digital Modeling Capabilities

Using digital iterative design not only speeds up the design process and controls costs but yields a substantially better valve in terms of performance and value. Today’s superior virtual digital design technology takes the guesswork out of R&D, greatly reducing the design and development timeline, and minimizes related costs in the new product’s creation.

Custom Systems and Solutions

Valcor provides custom engineered fluid & motion control components, as well as complete turnkey systems.  Using our experience in analyzing customer systems while developing a component, we often find that we can improve and enhance the performance of the customer’s system.
