Job Title Assembly and Test Technician – Aerospace Production Lab
Location Springfield, NJ
Reports to Supervisor, Aerospace Production Lab

Compensation Compensation commensurate with experience/education
Summary Mechanical Technicians must have Electro-mechanical ability and be able to assemble and test simple electrical, complex mechanical and pneumatic and hydraulic components. This must be able to read detailed blueprints, test / assembly procedures and understand technical specifications.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques and equipment.
  • Understanding of basic electronics, pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Able to troubleshot component problems.
  • Works closely with Engineering to resolve issues.
  • Basic understanding of best shop practices (5S, Lean etc).
  • Can easily accept direction and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
  • Maintains a clean well organized work area and follows company policies (Safety , Attendance etc).
  • Aerospace and or Nuclear industry experience beneficial.
  • Requires a high school diploma, with advanced technical education preferred.
