October 1998 Valcor Scientific Offers Adjustable Springfield, NJ - Valcor Scientific, a division of Valcor Engineering Corporation, Springfield, New Jersey, now offers a high purity TeflonŽ Metering Pump. Model SV104 was specifically designed to handle corrosive liquids. Convenient in size, (4.5" H x 6" W x 7.2" D) it is a completely self contained unit, ready for immediate use. Simple to use it is ideal for a broad range of industrial applications, both new and retrofit as well as for D.I. Water applications. It is also a reliable basic metering pump for the lab bench in various processing and pilot plant applications. The SV104 is suitable for handling liquids to 250° F. Variable flow adjustment, from 100 to 800 ml, is accomplished by a solid state speed controller, which provides smooth, stepless control. The pump head is equipped with 1/4" TeflonŽ tube fittings for use with 1/4" I.D. rigid TeflonŽ tubing. Valcor's SV104 pump is self-priming, which minimizes delay in initiating liquid flow. The flow is constant to +/-2% under stable voltage and pressure conditions. The maximum outlet pressure of the pump is 15 psi at a flow rate of 100 ml per minute. Valcor Scientific has been a world leader in the design and engineering of solenoid operated valves and metering pumps for more than 40 years.
