June 1998 Subminiature Teflon Valve Series Springfield, NJ - Valcor Scientific, a division of Valcor Engineering Corporation, has introduced its SV20 Series of Subminiature Teflon Valves, specifically engineered to handle corrosive or high purity fluids by isolating all metal components from the media. The SV20 is available both as an individual unit, or as a complete manifold sub-assembly, ready for system testing and system integration, in order to contribute significantly to lower overall instrument size and cost. The SV20-1 Series are direct acting, two-way, normally closed diaphragm solenoid valves. The SV20-2 Series are direct acting, three-way, normally closed diaphragm solenoid valves. Compact in size, the SV20 Series features small internal volume, and utilizes an all TFE Teflon® body and Kalrez® diaphragm, to provide outstanding chemical resistance and compatibility to a wide range of fluids. Suitable for a broad range of light industrial applications, both new and retrofit, the SV20 Series can typically be used for:
Three models are available in the SV20-1 Series; nine models are available in the SV20-2 Series. All offer low power consumption and life expectancy in millions of cycles.
