August 1998 Valcor Scientific Offers SV-24M Springfield, NJ - Valcor Scientific, a Division of Valcor Engineering Corporation, now offers its popular SV24M Series of poppet valves in manifold configuration for multiple valve requirements. The SV24M valves are miniature solenoid operated valves designed to control a variety of liquids and gases. Also ideal as pilot valves for larger valves and actuators, their small, lightweight size make them suitable for a broad range of biotechnical, medical and analytical equipment applications as well as for industrial usage. Available as either 2-way or 3-way, the SV24M series features a 10-32 stud mounting, using O-ring seals for easy assembly. Mountings can be in any attitude or position. The normally closed and common ports are connected to the manifold, and the normally open port is located at the opposite end of the solenoid, requiring a separate external connection, or it may be vented to atmosphere. "This new configuration design provides a ready-to-install unit, complete for system testing and integration," according to Tom Iervolino, Director of Sales and Marketing for Valcor Scientific. "In addition, Valcor has recently expanded its manifold design capabilities to work directly as a part of the customer's design and manufacturing team.
