December 1998 Valcor Scientific Offers New High Purity Solenoid Valve in Various Plastics & Elastomers Springfield, NJ - Valcor Scientific, of Springfield, NJ, now offers its popular SV51 Series utilizing several new synthetic materials. In additin to virgin TFE Teflon, for maximum inertness and compatibility with a wide range of fluids, the SV51 is also available with a polypropylene body, as well as with a number of different diaphragm elastomers, such as EPDM, Viton®, or AFLAS®. The SV51 Series are direct acting, two-way, normally closed diaphragm valves, utilizing Valcor's unique Dri-Solenoid design, in which a flexible diaphragm is used to isolate the valve's metallic parts from the fluid being handled. Two-way normally open versions are also available. Featuring bubble-tight shutoff, Valcor's SV51 Series also is designed with a right angle body to provide greater flow per orifice size than comparable globe ported valves.
