Valcor Scientific Offers New High Purity Solenoid Valve in Various Plastics & Elastomers

Springfield, NJ - Valcor Scientific, of Springfield, NJ, now offers its popular SV51 Series utilizing several new synthetic materials. In additin to virgin TFE Teflon, for maximum inertness and compatibility with a wide range of fluids, the SV51 is also available with a polypropylene body, as well as with a number of different diaphragm elastomers, such as EPDM, Viton®, or AFLAS®.

The SV51 Series are direct acting, two-way, normally closed diaphragm valves, utilizing Valcor's unique Dri-Solenoid™ design, in which a flexible diaphragm is used to isolate the valve's metallic parts from the fluid being handled. Two-way normally open versions are also available.

Featuring bubble-tight shutoff, Valcor's SV51 Series also is designed with a right angle body to provide greater flow per orifice size than comparable globe ported valves. It is mountable in any position.

Model SV51 is suitable for a broad range of light industrial applications, both new and retrofit and is available in numerous orifice sizes.

Typical applications include:

  • Dialysis Equipment
  • Cell Counters and protein synthesis in biotechnology
  • Medical Sterilizers
  • Bottle Filling Machinery
Paper Rolling, Ambient Air Analyzers, Filling Machinery, Aerosol Equipment, etc.
  • Photo Processing and Chemical Blending for Reprographics
  • Industrial Cleaning Equipment
