Valcor Scientific's SV101 High Purity Relief Valve Offers Flexibility and Fast Response

Springfield, NJ - Valcor Scientific, a division of Valcor Engineering Corporation, now offers its Model SV101, a high purity Teflon® pressure relief valve.

Model SV101 is a Dri-Control liquid pressure relief valve that offers fast response to pressure fluctuations. The valve employs a unique spring-loaded diaphragm that automatically opens when the inlet pressure reached a manually set point. An adjustment knob allows the SV101 to be set to determine or change the downstream pressure.

Small and lightweight (less than 3.5" H, and weighing 6.0 oz.), the SV101 is ideal for numerous water or corrosive fluid applications. It is suitable in analytical instrumentation, wafer cleaning in semiconductor applications, ink mix and flow control in reprographics and computer applications, and pressure relief in high purity applications. In addition, it can be used effectively for new system development since the relief valve can be reset and varied according to the changing requirement often encountered in new developments.

Composed of virgin TFE Teflon® wetted components, to combat corrosion, clogging and contamination, Model SV101 offers the greatest degree of inertness along with high temperature capability. The valve is suitable for liquids 250°F. Similar models are also available with a polypropylene body, and/or a number of different diaphragm elastomers, such as EPDM, Viton®, or AFLAS®.

The SV101 offers relief pressure ranges from 5-70, 0-40 and 5-100 PSIG and is also panel mountable.
