Summary

Experienced Program/Project Manager responsible for managing both legacy and new programs, from Product Development (sales inception), thru Engineering design, manufacturing, assembly, test and delivery to customers. Responsibilities also include developing and maintaining effective relationships with both internal and external customers. The position reports to the Sr. Director, Program Management and efficient management of programs will be through the use of:

  • Financial Controls – insuring Programs are performed within specific Program award budgets.
  • Schedule Controls – that insure on time contract performance with the appropriate resources allocated to meet changing contract requirements.
  • Contractual Submittals – that insure timely production of documents, reports and program updates per specific contract reporting requirements.
  • Customer Relations – Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers; the main point of contact to the customer.
  • Other important elements for success are a clear understanding of business, accounting procedures, Quality Assurance practices, contracts, sales techniques and manufacturing procedures.

Customers include major Aerospace companies such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, UTAS, SpaceX, Gulfstream and Aerojet Rocketdyne.

Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience managing complex programs, with demonstrated financial skills and excellent communications techniques a must.
  • BSME (or equivalent engineering degree) preferred – Advanced degree (MBA or MS) and related Aerospace experience preferable but not required.
