Springfield, NJ – VALCOR SCIENTIFIC, a division of Valcor Engineering Corporation, is now offering its SV97 valve as part of its extensive line of cryogenic valves. Valcor has been a world leader in the design and manufacture of solenoid valves for critical fluid control for more than 40 years.

Valcor’s SV97 Series are direct acting, 2-way, normally closed poppet-style solenoid valves. Requiring no minimum operating pressure, these valves are capable of handling temperatures ranging from –320^oF to +250^oF. SV97 Valves are suitable for handling all cryogenic liquids and gases, such as of hi-flow liquid nitrogen (LN₂). Designed with a Heli-arc welded stainless steel construction and featuring bubble-tight shutoff, the SV97 provides a superior external hermetic seal for unique applications that demand the maximum in external leakage protection.

Six sizes are available in the SV97 series, with orifice sizes from 5/64" to ¼", and flow between 0.04 and 0.8 C_v. Only 4" high and 1.5" square at the body, the SV97 cryogenic valves are operable in all orientations to provide maximum mounting flexibility.

• LCO₂ cleaning systems
• Inlet valve to cold chambers
