This valve is engineered for liquid or gas applications in the nuclear Industry.  Typical applications are water systems,  miscellaneous process systems, air, nitrogen and other gas systems, monitoring and sampling systems.

This gate type design uses spring loaded seal discs that seal tightly at all pressures from 0 psig to maximum rating.  When the requirement is specified, this valve can permit bi-directional flow with tight sealing in both flow directions.  Because of straight-through flow path with self-cleaning sealing surfaces, internal passages inherently resist any buildup of contamination and sludge.

Features and Options:

Absolute zero leakage to the environment.  No packings, bellows, or diaphragms.
Valve ratings: ANSI class 150 to 2500.
High cycle life.  Over 100,000 operations in most applications.
Straight-through flow: resistant to contamination and sludge build-up.
ASME Section III, Classes 1,2, and 3.
Available Fail Safe Closed, Fail Safe Open or Fail in Last Position.
Body material:  Standard: Stainless Steel, Optional:  Carbon Steel, AL6V, other ASME Materials.  
Carbon Seats.
Bi-directional flow available.
Position indication switches available for remote status indication.
Line connection:  Standard:  Socket weld, Optional:  Butt Weld or Tube Extensions.
Solenoid operator is constructed of Class H materials or better.  120 VAC or 125 VDC.  Other voltages available.
All electrical components totally enclosed.  Meets minimum of NEMA 4 or better.
Solenoid and switch assemblies readily accessible for removal or maintenance without disturbing the pressure boundary.
Stress and seismic analysis available.  Qualified to IEEE 344.
Radiation resistance:  Standard 2 x 108 rads.
Qualification:  IEEE 323 - 1983, IEEE 344 - 1975, IEEE 382 - 1980.
Qualified life:  Up to 40 years + LOCA.
