This valve is engineered for liquid or gas
applications in the nuclear Industry. Typical applications are water systems, miscellaneous process systems, air, nitrogen and other gas systems, monitoring and
sampling systems.
This gate type design uses spring loaded
seal discs that seal tightly at all pressures from 0 psig to maximum rating. When
the requirement is specified, this valve can permit bi-directional flow with tight sealing
in both flow directions. Because of straight-through flow path with self-cleaning
sealing surfaces, internal passages inherently resist any buildup of contamination and
sludge.
